... watched the intro movie of the new Madoka gacha mobile game.
Interesting how they have Walpurgis by the end with every main serie magical girl fighting.
Including those that HAVE to be from alternate timelines (God Madoka can't reach the Record timeline by its own premise)
Could be only usual advertisement or an hint to Walpurgis being extra-dimensional.
Go figure this is an herring to Walpurgisnacht Rising ending with the Record girls joining the scene for the next movie (that will come in 2040 if Rising taught us something about their horrible release pacing)
That said, if you ask me, calling for the Magia Record crossover would be the only way to "complete" the story.
If Walpurgis is the "real" enemy (or at least the byproduct of the real enemy) then every character here has a part of the solution and a part of the mistake
Homura realized Walpurgis is the singularity point (or maybe caused the singularity point to be), realized that she has to play "New Game +" until she find the "True Ending" requirements but is too silly (or too love- struck) to realize that True Ending == Everyone has to live instead of just Madoka
Madoka realized the source of the issue is Grief / Miasma / whatever you want to call it but only cured the effects - Witches. She is putting a bandaid on the problem after the girls already suffered. The real cure is to stick together and support each other (I STILL think soon or later they will notice something that is only hinted - Souls being able so purify each other)
Magia Record started to recognize that there is something worth in being together but they are clearly lacking... A BRAIN since they start faction warfare.
Wouldn't be surprised at all if the new movies goes further on the mess that Homura made in rebellion and takes the "Iroha is a part of Madoka" route (since you know... their names share a common theme...)
It is also very interesting to notice how if Madoka was post Ep.1 Twilight Sparkle after she learned friendship stuck in a world that devalues friendship between magical girls, Iroha struggles with understanding friendship and support just like pre-series / EG Twilight even in a world where magical girls cooperate more.
